Understanding Your Account Balance

Learn how to interpret your account balance in PayHOA and understand how charges, credits, and assessments are displayed.

Overview

Your account balance in PayHOA shows all outstanding dues, recent payments, and credits applied to your property.

How to View Your Balance

  1. Log in to your PayHOA portal.

  2. On your dashboard, your current balance is displayed under “My Account.”

  3. Click “View Details” to see a line-by-line breakdown of transactions, including:

    • Assessment charges

    • Late fees (if applicable)

    • Payment credits or adjustments

    • Reserve or special assessments

Understanding Balance Items

  • Positive Balance: You owe the HOA this amount.

  • Negative Balance: You have a credit (overpayment or prepayment).

  • $0.00 Balance: Your account is current.

Disputing or Clarifying a Charge

If you see an unfamiliar charge or fee:

  • Email homeowners@yourhoahelp.com with your name, address, and a screenshot or description of the line item.

  • The team will review the ledger and respond with clarification or adjustment if necessary.

Importance

Regularly checking your balance helps prevent late payments and ensures your account remains accurate.
